About Pepipoo
We’re here to help motorists get fair treatment.
People Empowered to Protest Injustice, Penalties, Overreach & Overcharging.
This site exists for one simple reason: most drivers don’t have a legal department they can call when something goes wrong. Whether it’s a speeding allegation you’re not sure is right, a private parking demand that looks pushy, or a confusing penalty notice from a council, it’s intimidating. It can also get expensive very quickly.
Our aim is to bridge that gap. We’re building a resource to help ordinary motorists understand their position, challenge things that don’t look correct, and avoid being pushed around simply because “that’s what the letter said”.
What you’ll find here
- Plain-English guides: Step-by-step explanations of common motoring issues — speeding tickets, NIPs (Notices of Intended Prosecution), council-issued PCNs, private parking charges, clamping, towing, and more. No jargon, no lecturing, just “here’s what this actually means and here’s what people normally do next.”
- Useful templates and checklists: We’re preparing practical tools such as draft appeal wording, evidence checklists, timelines, and questions you should (and shouldn’t) ask when you speak to an authority or landowner.
- Real-world experience: We’ve spent years watching how tickets are issued, how they’re enforced, and how they’re overturned. We’re distilling that experience into guides that focus on what tends to matter in reality — not just in theory.
- Independent tone: We’re not here to sell you points-awareness courses or tell you to “just pay up and move on”. We’re here to help you understand your options so you can make an informed decision.
- Next steps for more complex cases: Many situations can be handled yourself with a bit of guidance. Some can’t. We’ll be signposting where to get qualified legal help if your case needs formal representation, or if you’re facing something serious like a potential ban or court appearance.
What’s coming next
Right now we’re finishing the new platform behind the scenes. Over the coming weeks we’ll be rolling out:
- Topic hubs for things like speeding, parking, and vehicle seizures — so you can go straight to what applies to you.
- Searchable Q&A covering the most common “Do I have to…?” and “Can they really…?” questions.
- Community input from people who’ve actually challenged tickets and won.
Important note
We are not your solicitor and we can’t give personalised legal advice. Everything on this site is general information aimed at helping you understand the process and ask the right questions. If you’re facing court action or anything time-critical, you should speak to a qualified legal professional without delay.
Our goal
At heart, this project is about fairness. Drivers are hit with penalties, deadlines, threats of extra costs and “final reminders” on a daily basis — and most people just pay because they’re worried. Sometimes that’s the right call. Sometimes it really isn’t.
We want you to know the difference.
Thank you for visiting, and please check back as we continue to roll out new sections.
